2 Anaheim Gazette THURSDAY, JULY 2, 1953 ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA Nuptial Mass Unites Priscilla Jean Orman and Gilbert Kraemer Miss Priscilla Jean Orman became the bride of Gilbert Kraemer Jr., at a nuptial mass held in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Santa Ana on Saturday morning. Daughter of the late William F. Orman and the Mrs. Orman of Beverly Hills, the bride formerly lived in Anaheim and won a number of local awards for her beauty which led to a motion picture contract with Howard Hughes. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kraemer of Placenin, section of one of the region's first families. The Rev. Ernest Gualderon officiated at the double ring ceremony which was performed before an altar decorated with pink larkspur and pink gladioli. The wedding party progressed down the center aisle marked with pink satin bows and pastel green carpeting. Wedding Gown Accenting the bride's loveliness to perfection was her gown of imported Chantilly lace and satin. The very full skirt and long train were of satin, nylon net and juffle. The fitted bodice was fashioned with a low neckline edged with stand up collar. The long sleeves ended in points at the wrists. A finger tip length veil of silk illusion net fell from a pearl-ed flare and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and stephanotis with a white orchid in MRS. GILBERT KRAEMER, JR. Seventh Annual Lutheran Home Festival Held The seventh annual Lutheran Home festival was held on Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran Home for the Aged, 891 S. Walnut st., Anaheim. The best man was groom's brother, Irwin T and the ushers were a Seventh Annual Lutheran Home Festival Held The seventh annual Lutheran Home festival was held on Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran Home for the Aged, 891 S. Walnut St., Anaheim. Hostesses were members of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Home association. Mrs. E. H. Drinkgern of Orange, president, and Mrs. Eric Winger of the house committee were in charge of arrangements assisted by Mrs. Oscar Wixom, matron of the home. The Rev. Edwin H. Pflug opened the religious program at 4 p.m. with the invocation. This was followed by selections by the Emanuel Lutheran choir of Orange under the direction of E. T. Pingel. The choir sang "The Holy Ghost Eternal God" and "The King of Love My Shepherd Is." The Rev. Elmer Gunther pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church of Norwalk and former chaplain of the home, gave the inspirational address. The program closed with assembled guests singing the Doxology. The Rev. Pflug gave the benediction. A tour of the grounds followed with special attention being given to the new wing now under construction. Rhonda Collins and Wayne Newkirk, local youngsters, entertained with accordion music during the picnic supper which followed. A collection was taken to help finance the building of a chapel, the present project of the auxiliary. Approximately 250 visitors attended the festival. Each of the 42 elderly guests of the home were adopted for the day by a visiting family. Glenn Castos Home From Salt Lake Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Casto and three children of 13922 East Orangewood avenue returned on Wednesday from a twelve-day vacation trip to Salt Lake City, Utah where they visited Mrs. Casto’s aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Wells. Miss Orman was given in marriage by her uncle, Irwin North, and was attended by her sisters and close friends. Matrón of honor was her sister, Mrs. Robert Richards, and bridesmaids were her sister, Mrs. Robert Campbell, Miss Mary Musante and Miss Barbara Darrow. All wore ballerina length gowns of aqua green parternment silk with fitted bodice appliqued with floral halter necklines full skirts and bolero jackets. Their shoes and head-dresses matched the gowns and they carried bouquets of pink tinted Esther Reed daisies. As charming little flower girls, Miss Ofrum’s nieces, Candace Campbell and Vickie Richard carried baskets of pink rose petals and wore full length white organ dresses with satin underskirts. Naphew of the groom, Stephen Brennan, wore a white suit and carried the ring on a satin pillow. The bridegroom was attended by his brother Daniel Kraemer, the best man. Usher们 were Robert Kraemer, cousin of the bridegroom, Robert Ferguson of Fairmont, and Joseph Angello of Pittsburgh. All wore formal morning attire. Organist Charles Miller Jr. played the wedding marches and accompanied soprano Mrs. Nona Basister who sang "Panis Angelina," and tenor Charles Miller who sang "Ave Maria." Reception at Capilla An outdoor reception was held in the gardens of Capilla de San Antonio and five hundred guests attended. The newly married couple cut a beautiful white pedal cake that was trimmed with countless pink rosebuds. Presiding at the punch bowls were Miss Evelyn Kraemer, Miss Marlyn Stueckle and Miss Donna Kokx while Mrs. Richard Tozer was in charge of the guest book. The bride’s mother wore an ensemble of navy blue, Mrs. Kraemer chose a suit of pastel pink with matching hat. Both mothers graduate of Occidental college of Boston School of Therapeutics where he received his B.A. degree in June, magna cum laureum. The bridal party was completely members of the families. Mrs. William Eaton of Redlands, sister of bride, was matron of honour; the groom’s two sisters, and Martha Trotter, were his maidens. The bridal gown was of satin with French chantilly with matching lace trimmed while the matron honored the bridesmaids’ dresses with white organdie over taffeta lace bolero type jackets matching lace caps. The church was decorated white gladioli grown by a friend of the family, Carl Hof of San Juan Capistrano arranged by Lenox Tierney of the department of fin at John Muir college. The bouquet also featured white iolli while the bridesmaids ried a contrasting red. Preceding the ceremony cappella choir of John Muir lege sang several numbers Antonio and five hundred guests attended. Her husband graduated from Fullerton High school and received a degree of Bachelor of Science in commerce on June 13 from the University of Santa Clara. After a two-week honeymoon, the couple will make their home in Anaheim. Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Johnson, of Stanton became the parents of daughter on Thursday. The infant weighed 6 lbs., 15 oz., and was born in St. Joseph hospital. Mr. Thomas Trotter were invited in marriage by the groom's mother, the Rev. Mr. Frederick B. Trotter at the White Temple Methodist church, Anaheim, Saturday evening, June 27, at 7 o'clock. The bride has been voiced instructor during the past year John Muir college in Pasadena, chose as her wedding day the sixth wedding anniversary of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul H. Demaree, superintendent of Secdary schools in Anaheim. Miss Demaree is a graduate of Occidental college where she majored music and secured her M.A. degree from Columbia university. The Rev. Mr. Trotter is also a graduate of Occidental college and Boston School of Theology where he received his B. D. degree in June, magna cum laude. Following the ceremony Past Presidents Entertained Mary Swindler entertained the past president's club of A.B.Paul Relief Corps in her home recently with the help of Mrs. Edward Heinze. Misses Dorothea Emerson and Eunice Nordine, fellow faculty members from Muir college, poured at the coffee table while Miss Susan Demaree and Mrs. John Demaree, cousins of the bride, served punch. After a short honeymoon at Laguna Beach, the couple will drive to Boston where the Rev. Trotter will direct youth activities at the Chapel of Boston University and work toward his Doctorate. The hostesses served mocha cream pie and coffee at the social hour which ended the session. Twenty members were present. The Jaycettes will hold their next meeting on Aug. 1.
