Miss Addington Feted at Surprise Birthday Dinner
Jo Addington was the happy and surprised recipient of a delightful informal dinner and birthday party this week when Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Rolland and Miss Bettie Ulrich entertained in the Rouland home, 866 S. Philadelphia st., in her honor.
A candle-lighted birthday cake centered the beautifully decorated dinner table, which featured Hawaiian nutcups and placecards.
Bidden to felicitate Jo, in addition to the host and hostesses were Hedy Koerner, Jack Addington, Mrs. Bessie Rolland, Doris and Robert Rolland, and Martine Brown.
MRS. ROSE RICHARDSON sits in her favorite chair to record events of the day. A daily diary kept through her alert interest in world events, contains records of the past 25 years although intermittent entries date back to her young womanhood.
