Dispute May Block Plans For Walcott-Marciano Go NEW YORK, Jan. 13 CP—Boxing’s newly-formed Review Board is going to attempt to settle a disagreement which threatens to block plans for Jersey Joe Walcott’s April 10 return bout with heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano. Promoter Jim Norris, president of the International Boxing Club, told Felix Bocchigchio, Walcott’s manager, the fight would have to be in Chicago or there would be no indoor scrap between the two. Bocchicchio just as firmly insisted that Walcott would not fight in Chicago. He said he preferred Atlantic City’s convention hall with a seating capacity of 20,000 or the Miami Orange box which he said would hold 75,000. He said the 26,000 capacity Chicago stadium was not big enough. Boards Step In After the argument had reached that stage the review board set up by the New York State Athletic commission and the National Boxing association stepped in and called for Norris and Bocchicchio to produce contracts at a Friday morning meeting here.
