Optometrist Doubles in Brass The ultimate in hospitality at the Hollingsworth house is the invitation to "come into the garage." For that part of the house which began a life as a two car garage has recently been converted into the most attractive den imagianable. Warren Hollingsworth, better known in town for his practice of optometry than for his building ability, actually did most of the work himself. He is understandably pleased with the way in which the new 20x20 all-purpose room augments his 800 square foot home at 201 North Rose Street From Fence to Fireside Actually, it all started with fence. When Hollingsworth nounced that he intended to up a fence at the property his wife took the statement with grain of salt for as far as knew, he had never put hammer to nail before. But the fence turned out so well that he eyed garage as the next project with idea that it would be more useful as living space than catch-all. The garage has always been tached to the front of the house the kitchen door. By enclosing water heater and automatic waterer in the closet, the rest of the space was left vacant to work. Car storage was taken care of by a car port built along the back property line conveniently served by an ally way. The car parking doubles as a covered patio.
