Blimp with 10 Aboard Drops into C BRUNSWICK, Ga. UB—A Navy blimp carrying a ten-man crew dropped into the Atlantic Ocean 55 miles east of Brunswick today. Fate of those aboard could not be immediately determined. The lighter-than-air craft went down after its gas bag was pierced by a window which blew out of the blimp's cab. A propellor knocked the window through the fabric and the big airship quickly settled into the sea. A companion blimp from the Glynco Naval Air Station near here dropped rescue gear and stood by to help. A submarine also was reported hurrying to the scene while the Navy is sending planes and surface vessels from Jacksonville. The weather was bright and there was not much blimps were out on mission in conjunction marines. MUTTONTOWN, N. N. (P) — One man was killed today in an explosion at the U.S. Naval Ammunition Depot eight miles south of here. He was identified as L. J. Yancy, Red Oak, Okla. Yancy was loading a five inch projectile when the explosion occurred. There is no indication of what caused the accident. TELEVISION Coming and Going LOUISVILLE, Ky. (P) — The Moran family got it coming and going today. Everett L. Moran drove off to work this morning, taking his wife along to return the car. On the way Moran picked up a ticket from Patrolmen Jack Willis and Julius Helm for running a red light. Moran drove on to work and turned the car over to his wife. WASHINGTON (F) — The defense department today identified 156 casualties of the Korean war. The new list included 18 killed in action, 133 wounded, three injured in accidents, and two missing.
