'God and End of World' is Topic For Sermon Tonite
"God and the End of the World" will be the subject of the sermon to be delivered at 7:30 p.m. today by the Rev Bob Kevorkian, pastor of First Baptist church, Broadway at Citron. The service will be one of a weeklong series with the general theme: "Christ for Everyone."
Many have wondered what the future has in store as far as God's relationship with the world and the universe is concerned, the pastor said. God, who set the world in motion, is the one who sustains its activity and guides its destiny. This God has given a plan of the future of things as he has spoken in his Holy Word, the pastor explained. What are the signposts of the future? This question is the key to the pastor's sermon.
Tomorrow night will be men's night as the church with a fellowship supper scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Reservations may be made by calling Anaheim 2593.
