Family to Leave
On Wisconsin Trip
Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Prior of this city are leaving tomorrow for a month vacation in Wisconsin. Enroute they will visit former Anaheim residents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorran Meyer of Cresco, Ia. Stops are planned for Mondovi, Wis., where Mrs. Prior will visit her mother and family; for Owen, Wis., where she has another sister, and for Minnesota, to visit friends.
The Priors' small daughter, Marsha Lynn, will make the trip with them.

Cooked Food Booth
Mrs. Marjorie McBratney, president of the Stanton Lady Lions, asks anyone wishing to have rummage picked up for the annual three day sale to be conducted in the Stanton Lions Community Clubhouse, Sept. 4, 5 and 6, may call Anaheim 6-0046.
A cooked food sale, with Mrs. Pearl Rubus as chairman, will be an additional feature on Saturday.
New Members for Local IOOF Lodge
Neil R. Root was initiated Tuesday night into IOOF lodge in a meeting presided over by Curt Horn, noble grand.
Preparation were made for a breakfast to be held Sept. 14 in the temple dining room. The public is invited and serving will begin at 8 a.m.

Council of Church Women to Officers at September 5 Meet
Arts and Crafts Show Includes Summer Activities
Climaxing a summer full of special activities was the first and very successful art, craft and hobby show held yesterday. In a modern theme the exhibits were shown in the newly completed Optimist club house on West Char-tres street. The show was under the direction of the Anaheim Recreation department led by Mary Lawrence, craft director and Marji Henderson, special activities director.
Ribbon winners in the craft division were: Ceramics for four to nine year olds, Karen Thornton, Adrian Lenain, Mari-Ann Henry. In the upper division, Loren Panneir, Donna Starmes and Donna Lee, Diane Herring and Patty Beale, John Easten. The new and interesting copper class had winners in the person of: Karen Thornton, Carolyn Crog, Freddy Otera and Billy Lawrence. Interesting for the very young is finger painting. Ribbons in this division were won by Diana Herring and Sandra Rees.
Holding special interest for all visitors were the exhibits of model planes and cars. Winning with their hobby were Hudson Harrison, Don Kliss and Jeffery Bates. Stamp collections were in evidence and the proud winners were Hudson Harrison, for the most complete, and Don most attractive.

Recent changes in the constitution for the Anaheim Council of Church Women provide for the annual meeting to be held in September this year instead of in January.
Election and installation will be conducted at the session, to be held in the Christian church, 329 W. Broadway, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served by members of the participating churches in the council.
A special program is being planned under the direction of Mrs. E. A. Anderson, program chairman, and a nursery will be provided for small children.
Mrs. Chester Ferris, president of the Anaheim council, urges that all women obtain their breakfast tickets early from their church representative.
