The Golden Text from Psalms (67:3,4) reads, "Let the people praise thee. O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth." Mark's Gospel records (1:23-27) that "a man with an unclean spirit" cried out to Jesus, "Saying, let us alone; what have we to do with thee... And Jesus rebuke him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And he came out of him. And they were all amazed... saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him." Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures": "When man is governed by God, the ever-present Mind who understands all things, man knows that with God all things are possible. The only way to this living Truth, which heals the sick, is found in the Science of divine Mind as taught and demonstrated by Christ Jesus" (p. 180). First Baptist The Rev. Bob Kevorkian of First Baptist church will discuss "The Prospect of Salvation" in his 11 a.m. sermon Sunday. For the 7 p.m. service he will deliver the eighth in a series of sermons on the life of Moses. White Temple The Rev. Frank Butterworth, home after several weeks of vacation, will occupy his home.
