Attend Local Ch St. Michael's Episcopal "The Mysteries of the Kingdom" is the sermon topic selected by the rector of St. Michaels, the Rev. John Kimball Saville, for the final sermon before his August vacation. It will be given at the 10:20 a.m. morning prayer service this Sunday, July 27. The senior choir, under the direction of Mrs. Bert Beard, will present the offertory anthem, "Teach Me, O Lord," by Atkins. The 8 a.m. communion service will be as usual and the 9:30 a.m. family service will present the second episode in the colored film of the life of Moses, "Moses Escapes to Midian." In the quirc contest following the showing of the film the fourth grade, taught by Mrs. Brandon, currently is ahead by 1½ points. By popular demand these family services will be continued at 9:30 through the month of August so that the five remaining episodes in the life of Moses can be presented. Stanton Community Rev. Charles White of the Stanton Community church is taking reservations for the junior and senior high summer camp at Pine valley in San Diego county, Aug. 4-11. All young people between the ages of 11½ and 20, who registered before July 21, may go for $9 and after that the fee is $10. Custodian Walsworth was instructed to obtain new quotations on a new motorized lawnmower for the school. The board authorized an offer of $200 for a lot at the northeast corner of Cypress and West sts. It will be held, if purchased, for future use. Dr. Julius Osher Dies Suddenly Dr. Julius C. Osher, 77, died Wednesday evening, while visiting a friend in Carbon Canyon. He was a graduate of Northwestern School of Dentistry, Rush Medical college, the University of Illinois College of Physicians and Surgeons, and had special training in Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat medicine in Germany. For nearly forty years he has practiced in Anaheim and maintained his home and office at 1224 W. Center. He was a 33rd degree Mason in Illinois and a member of the White Temple Methodist church.
