Important Items To be Discussed At Retail Meet Announced by Chairman Walter Swanberger as the most important meeting of the year, the regular monthly breakfast get-together of the Retail division of the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for breakfast tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. at the Dorothy-Wade Dinner House 1418 E. Center st. Bulletins announcing the meeting have been sent to all members of the Retail division and a large turnout is expected. The meeting will be devoted entirely to business. Merchants will tackle such problems as these: 1. What days shall be set aside for Fall Dollar Days? 2. What will be done about Christmas lighting? 3. Shall we continue with Santa Claus and the Christmas Gift Hunt? and 4. How will we raise the money to pay for these promotions? In announcing the meeting, Chairman Swanberger and vice chairmen Oscar Solter and Jack Ballard point out that this is the meeting in which every merchant has a chance to express his or her opinion on these vitally important subjects. Each of the speakers will discuss one phase of a general theme "We Ask You??," four pertinent questions facing graduates in the times. This year's speakers are Ma Carlson (Fullerton), who will speak on "What Is Indispensable?"; John Kroeger (Fullerton) whose topic is "What Is Intelligence?"; Connie Woods (Anaheim) discussing "What Are We Looking At?"; and Kenneth Bem (Fullerton) asking "What Can We Believe." Miss Carlson, who will spee leave of the school in ceremonies tomorrow evening. Tustin Firm Named For County Audit GRADUATES—Shown above are the students graduated last night from Zion Meran school: first row, from left, Joyce Carr, salutatorian; Carol Wilkirson, valedictorian; and Sally Cordes; second row, Understanding Students to Deliver Commencement Addresses at FJC Last, is also this year's recipient of the Kappa Lambda Sigma service sorority's coveted annual medal to the woman student who has contributed the most to the junior college. She has been president of the Associated Women Students this year and is a member of Theta Nu Theta, service sorority; Di Gamma Nu Alpha, and Alpha Gamma Sigma, junior college scholarship fraternity. An elementary education major, Miss Carlson has also been active in numerous other activities at the junior college. She has also received a scholarship to Whittier college. John Kroeger has served his sophomore year as Student Body treasurer. A member of Alpha Gamma Sigma, scholarship society, he is an engineering major. He was cited by the engineering department as an outstanding student in that field. Miss Woods, an art major, was cited this year as an outstanding student in the creative arts field. She was art director of the 1952 Tustin Firm Named For County Audit Audit of Orange county's schools and records will be done this year by H. Louis Hanson and Arthur Peterson who have a Tustin accounting firm. Grand jury foreman Jack Sargent reported the selection of Hanson and Peterson. She is a member of Phi Alpha Omega service sorority. The fourth speaker, Kenneth Beamis, is a theology major. He has been president and chairman of the Inter-Varsity Christian club.
