WEATHERWISE — Considerable cloudiness didn't cloud Anaheimers' enthusiasm for the three-day Memorial holiday.
NEWSFRONTS — Tomorrow's Presidential primary election is expected to bring a record 65 percent vote, B. J. Smith, county clerk, predicted. Orange county has an all-time high of 112,551 voters. Walson's vacated State Senate seat has produced some interesting political fireworks ... Anaheimers will be keenly interested in the outcome of the race between Lloyd S. Verry and John Shea for the Anaheim-Fullerton municipal court judgeship ... A 17-year-old Long Beach youth—William Halpin—is hovering between life and death at a Fullerton hospital. He was accidentally shot by a hunting companion near the gravel pit on the Coyote Lease north of Buena Park.
HIWAY HOLOCAUST — Walter Robinson, 55, one-legged Good Humor man, was the 35th traffic fatality of the year. He was killed instantly when he drove his ice
