The pretty bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a grown of white chantilly lace with a fitted bodice and panels inset in the skirt. Her veil was held by a pearl juliet cap and she carried a crescent bouquet of white carnations and a white orchid. Matron of honor was Mrs. O. M. O'Brien, sister of the bride, who wore flocked orchid organza over taffeta. Her crescent bouquet of peach carnations was tied with an orchid ribbon. Bridesmaids, Mrs. G. G. Bland, sister of the bride; Miss Barbara Hirth, and Miss Twana Dudney, wore green aqua and yellow organza respectively and carried matching bouquets. CLEARANCE SPRING SU New spring styles, all w Board Plans General Session The Board of the Katella P.T.L. met Wednesday morning under the direction of Mrs. Ross Brownfield to complete plans for installation of new officers to be held Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m. at the school cafetorium. Kindergarten, Third and Fourth grade pupils will present a program for the parents and teachers for the first feature of the evening, and then the new officers will be installed by Mrs. P. V. Dominguez, past president of the League and former member of the school board. "Flying the Alcan Highway," will be the subject as Mr. and Mrs. Hall Balmer show colored slides and tell of their interesting trip up there last summer. This will be a show which will appeal to the whole family. Refreshments are to be served by the second grade mothers at the end of the evening. Thursday, May 1, was announced as the date for the Katella Public School Week program. Board of Trustees election will be on May 16, and the school picnic on Saturday, June 7, according to present plans.
