This was revealed by Evening Moscow which said there are nearly 100,000 Ivanovs in the capitol and nearly 70,000 Kuznetsovsk. Kuznetsov translated into English is Smith. Ivanov is closest to Johns.

Mrs. Maude Goshe Bell, 71, also went to her eternal reward... Sportswise: With Bert Haysom pitching, Santana Hi won the annual Pamona 20-30 Invitational baseball tourney... That was a year ago. Remember?
NEWSMAKERS—Walter Knott, the gentleman who parlayed a few Hoystenberry vines into one of the show places of the West must have found narrow gauge railroad profitable. His Ghostown Railroad has lengthened its right-of-way and added more rolling stock including another iron hoss... Charles Newsom was retired by the voters of La Habra. He served on the city council for five terms—20 years... John O. Tynes may be a little nqar-sighted, but the people of Placentia were far-sighted when they elected him to the city council by the biggest margin given any candidate. He is outstanding in youth work... Bill Roberts who used to give Bill Sweet advice when he was running the Anaheim softball team doesn't need much advice when it comes to handling a successful election campaign. He was elected to the La Habra city council... Edwin R. Hagby won the Placentia city treasurer's job with 43 write-in votes. That goes to show that Ike Eisenhower and Estes Kefauver haven't cornered all the pencil pushers.
PROPAGANDA — Didcha see that press release turned out by the Fullerton high school and college announcing that the frustees (and Thomas S. Warburton's administrative council) had okayed 26 coaching jobs... Alexander Omalev, the college basketball
FACTS & FIGURES—Anaheim has 6833 registered voters; Fullerton has 7575; Orange has 4769; Laguna Beach has 4486. This means a lot of Anaheimers have neglected to register. Why?
LINES-O-TYPE—Sam Wheeler has moved to Anderson, California, where he will be a gentleman farmer. He'll have to go to Cottonwood to pick up his mail. Incidentally, Sam spent a lifetime working in and around Olinda (Orange county). Now, he's going to live a few miles from Olinda (Shasta county)... Spike Fidel is also up thar... An Anaheim association attendant was flustered when Za Za Gabor and a friend stopped in for gas... Antonio Duran saw the handwriting on the wall. He's been the gardner for the C. C. Chapman interests for nearly 20 years. That's the place they're going to subdivide into country estates. Irvin Chapman really hated to see the botanical expert go... Ted Duran, the Radio KBUC announcer, didn't walt so long before he quit his "ranching" job with the Chapmans...
NITECAPSULE—Money should be man's servant, but it often turns out to be his master.
