Pre-Tax Season Meeting Held By Accountants
Public accountants of Anaheim and other North Orange county cities concluded their second round of pre-tax season sessions with a dinner meeting in Santa Ana last night under the sponsorship of the Orange County Chapter of the Society of California Accountants.
The speaker of the evening was Kenneth Lake, CPA, and professor of accounting of Long Beach, who discussed the complex accounting problems of "Partnerships." His subject included accounting for the admission of a new partner; the accounting phase of partnership liquidation and the variances in accounting principles and tax accounting. He was introduced by Ralph A. Steen, chairman of the Educational committee.
Also discussed was the cooperative advertising program to acquaint the public with the duties and responsibilities of the public accountant, an extension of the program conducted in Anaheim through the local newspapers during the past three years.
The meeting was under the chairmanship of Melvin Mungerson, Orange county chapter president.
This meeting was preceded by an all-day tax conference at the Mission Inn at Riverside conducted under the sponsorship of the Red Women D Man Size Job MUNSAN, Korea (CP) women are flying as jet red China's air force, newsman reported at Par today.

Red Women Doing Man Size Jobs
MUNSAN, Korea (P) — Young women are flying as jet pilots in red China's air force, a leftist newsman reported at Panmunjom today.
The report came from Wilfred Burchett, who has been covering the Korean truce conference from the communist side as correspondent for the leftist Paris newspaper Ce Soir.
Burchett said he did not know how many women pilots were in the Chinese air force or whether any were in action over Korea. He said the women are scattered through various air units.
Burchett also reported there are many women in the Chinese bank corps.
