IF YOU'RE HAVING STEAK ID GAS SOON AS POSSIBLE—IT JUST Annaheim Gazette WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 1951 ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA Pre-Tax Season Meeting Held By Accountants Public accountants of Anaheim and other North Orange county cities concluded their second round of pre-tax season sessions with a dinner meeting in Santa Ana last night under the sponsorship of the Orange County Chapter of the Society of California Accountants. The speaker of the evening was Kenneth Lake, CPA, and professor of accounting of Long Beach, who discussed the complex accounting problems of "Partnerships." His subject included accounting for the admission of a new partner; the accounting phase of partnership liquidation and the variances in accounting principles and tax accounting. He was introduced by Ralph A. Steen, chairman of the Educational committee. Also discussed was the cooperative advertising program to acquaint the public with the duties and responsibilities of the public accountant, an extension of the program conducted in Anaheim through the local newspapers during the past three years. The meeting was under the chairmanship of Melvin Mungerson, Orange county chapter president.
