Holden Rows of delicate lace inset in satin were a lovely compliment to the wedding dress worn by Miss Betty Albin, daughter of Claire Albin of this city when she repeated vows last night with Stephen F. Holden of Fullerton. The altar of Zion Lutheran church was decorated in gold and bronze chrysanthemums for the double ring services, read by the Rev. Edwin H. Pflug. The bride chose for her wedding gown a period design with fitted bodice and full skirt en train. A yoke of sheer nylon net was outlined in lace with matching bands of lace in the skirt. Her fingertip veil was in nylon net and she carried a white orchid in a bouquet of carnations and stephanotis. She was given in marriage by her father. Identical to the bridal gown was the gold taffeta dress worn by maid of honor, Anna Marie Heinze. She carried a gold taffeta muff covered with bronze chrysanthemums. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Robert Albin, who wore brown taffeta with a matching muff and Mrs. Wesley Carle, cinnamon taffeta. Candles were lighted by Barbara Lemke and Jeneal Reeves and Mrs. Helen Haney tended the guest book. Orville Thomason, soloist, sang "Because" and "The Lord's Prayer" with Mrs. Olive Kempin at the organ. A four tiered wedding cake centered the bride's table for the reception held at the church. Assisting were auctions of the bride, Mrs. Merle Carroll and Mrs. Leta Eustice who served cake and Mrs. Albert Heinze who poured. Mrs. Vinnie Swallow, who represented the late Mrs. Albin in the receiving line, wore black lace over pink taffeta with a white camelia corsage. Mrs. Holden wore gold crepe with a pink rose corsage. Eat More California Oranges How to make good telephone service even better... You won't miss important calls when you answer promptly. When you have only two cards left to play in an exciting grand slam hand—or in any situation where you'd like to say "Wait a minute!"—it's always a temptation not to answer the telephone immediately. The person calling, though, doesn't know what you're doing, and may hang up, thinking you are not at home. That way, you may miss important calls. So, next time your phone rings, won't you try to answer as quickly as you can? faster long distance service can be yours if you always give your call to the operator by number...rather than by name and address. That way, you see, you won't have to wait while she finds out the number from "Information" in the distant town you are calling.
