The perfection and majesty of God's creation is contrasted with the dream of mortal existence in the Sunday Lesson-Sermon on "Adam and Fallen Man" in all Christian Science churches. One of Paul's declarations in his letter to the Ephesians in the Golden Text: "Ye were sometimes darkness, but now are light in the Lord; walk as children of light; prowing what is acceptable unto the Lord" (5:3,10).
In a Scriptural passage Jude waits, "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless choice the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. To the only who God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever" (1:24,25).
On this subject Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures": "The groft truth in the Sciences of being, that the real man was, is, and ever shall be perfect, is incontrovertible; for if man is the image, reflection, of God, he is neither inverted nor subverted, but upright and Godlike" (p. 200).

Methodist Church. "This is a campaign where hundreds of ministers are working together and crossing parish lines to give aid to each other. We know of no evangelistic campaign that has ever reached so many people as we expect to touch in this effort. Because of fraternal sharing of work between pastors, nobody gets paid anything out-of-pocket expenses and these are held on a rigidly low scale. There will be no love offerings."

LONDON (UK)—The Church of England newspaper today termed human, callous and cruel" a recent pronouncement by Pope Pius at a baby should not be sacrificed to save the life of a mother in difficult childbirth.
The newspaper, a weekly journal of opinion, is privately owned and reflects views of the church.
Never was the need more urgent than now for insistence upon sanctity of marriage and reject for the sexual function," the newspaper said in a front page editorial. "The pity of it is that Pope has so far over-stepped limits of common sense that statements are irrelevant. He brought discredit upon the Christian faith instead of honor."
A talk to Italian obstetricians Rome on Oct. 29, Pope Pius that in childbirth "to save mother's life is a very noble but the direct killing of the way as a means to that end is not permitted.
