class is open to all boys and girls who passed their intermediate swimming tests. The group will meet twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 9.
The wading pool at the City park is filled daily with clean water and will be supervised daily from 1 to 5 p.m., seven days a week.
Children Theatre Group
Under the instruction of Miss Pat Sullivan, the Recreation department will offer a class in dramatics for all ages. This class will meet Tuesday and Thursday from 10 to 12 noon on the Greek theatre stage in the City park. All those interested should contact Miss Sullivan, on Tuesday, June 19. All types of talent are needed and at the end of the summer this group will present a full show. The group will meet throughout the summer.
Ceramile Construction Classes
These classes are set up for older boys and girls who are interested in making their own ceramic figures. Classes will be limited in size, so if anyone is interested they are advised to sign up immediately by calling Anaheim 5151 or contact Mrs. Sullivan at 114 N. Citron, across the street from the High school library.
There will be an entry fee of July 18—Small children's costume day. Home made costumes. Prizes, awards to all entries.
July 26—Ping pong tournament. This tournament will be divided into three divisions for boys and girls. Details will be announced later in the papers. Awards to winners.
Aug. 1—Doll show, all ages, many classes and events. Contact recreation office at park for details.
Aug. 6—Table croquet tournament. Two divisions for boys and girls, play at the City park.
Aug. 16—Talent night Greek theatre, all ages may enter, see Miss Bloomfield for details. Watch papers for special announcements. Awards will be given.
Aug. 30, 31—Craft and hobby show. This will be an end of summer two day event open to the entire public. Ribbon awards will be given to entries.

CAMP PENDleton (UP) — The Marine corps today started releasing reservists with a year of service since the Korea war came up.
About 100 started for these homes from here. More than 50 are expected to be released from this camp before the end of the month.

Ceramic Construction Classes
These classes are set up for older boys and girls who are interested in making their own ceramic figures. Classes will be limited in size, so if anyone is interested they are advised to sign up immediately by calling Anaheim 5151 or contact Mrs. Sullivan at 114 N. Citron, across the street from the High school library.
There will be an entry fee of $2.00 for this class for the eight week course and $1.00 for the four week course. There will also be 20c to 45c firing charge per article which must be paid by the student. These classes will start June 18 and will continue until August 10 and will be held from 9:00 until 12:00 noon.
Ceramic Painting Classes
These classes will again be held in the City park. Miss Mary Lawrence will instruct the classes again this year.
Because of the large number of children who have taken part in this program in the past, a complete reorganization has been put into effect this summer. Groups will be conducted according to age levels. If the schedule below does not fit your summer plans please make special arrangements with the instructor at City park. These classes are free of charge except for the figures, paints, brushes, and supplies furnished by the Recreation department.

Summer Basketball
Again this summer a high school and open league will be formed. The league will be held in the High school gym with the High school league playing on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The open league will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. The leagues will start the week of the 18th.
Outlying Districts
This year the Recreation department will furnish craft and athletic instruction for the outlying school districts. Swimming lessons will be furnished at the High school pool for these districts with the cooperation of transportation from the local school boards.
Children in these districts are invited to take part in the intown program attached if they care to. All youngsters are invited to take part in all of the recreation program.
