Picnic at Park Fetes Yvonne Osborne Birthday
Colorful boats carried the names of guests on their sails for the festive party given in honor of Miss Yvonne Marie Osborne on her fourth birthday yesterday afternoon in city park.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Osborne, 912 W. Alberta St., the honoree was showered with gifts by sixty-four relatives and friends attending the affair.
Ham, baked beans and potato salad were served with the traditional birthday cake as dessert.
Guests were the Misses Pamela Clay, Robin Wallace, Sally Ann Clark, Jan Rae Reinert, Jerri Rafer, Patsy Mahaffey, Suzie Hendricks, Patty Joe Vandenberg, Betty Ann Heuler, Janie Sutherland, Jan Doast; Masters Larry Agjianian, Loren Schutz, Jim Glipin, David Dohm, Hal Felbaum, Billy Doyle, Mark Kirkhart, Bobby Brownell, Rob Lowell and Robert Bouck.
Mothers attending included the Mesdames John Clay, Alan Wallace, David Clark, James Reinert, John Raber, Jim HerAricks, Bill Sutherland, Virgil Doaust, Dick Henning, Harold Doaust, Tom Sowder Sully Roquet, Ainsworth Burkett, Robert Schmidt, Bill Groat, Loren Wagner, Ben Agjianian, Warren Schutz, Chet Gilpin, Jess Dohm, Harold Felbaum, Max Doyle, Walt Kirkhart, Randall Brownell, Robert Lovell and Bill Bouck.

Washington P-TA Seats Officers At Final Meeting

Corsages of different colors were presented to each of the coming officers, each color denoting a quality required of her fiice. Mrs. Carl Hatfield was stalled president; Mrs. Max Wile vice president; Mrs. E. W. Mulley secretary; Mrs. M. Loette treasurer; Mrs. A. C. Mabs; torian; Mrs. O. E. Farless; partimentarian; and Valney Elaudor.
Following installation, Walter Meade presented the officers with membership pins; Mrs. Carl Hatfield with a president's pin.
In other business, the association voted to present a gift to school and to conduct a fat vage drive. Plans were made for the annual sixth grade picnic, finalwiener sale,and final booeting to be held at the house of Mrs. S. E. Loard on May 26.
Mrs. O. E. Farless opened a program with a poetic tribute mothers. Also featured were M Shadowald's Harmonettes for Fremont school, including E and Marilyn Richards, Mary L Hund, Zole Fort, Sherlyn Ann and Dorothy Thomas, Lois Swie Dixie Heffern, Cherrie Goff, J Critchfield, Glenda Smith, Glc Taylor and Barbara Olsen.

Song and dance by the four grade Brownies concluded the program.
Refreshments were served first grade room mothers, Mrs John Miller, Mrs John Wilcox Mrs. H. Whitney. The tea taz was decorated by Mrs. Jo Arri flower chairman, in pink sweet peas and pink carnations. But Hatfield entertained during the tea hour.
Kaye Fancher Head Beta Sigma Phi
In a moving ceremony at Imperial May 8, new Beta Sigma Phi officers were installed Eloise Smith, outgoing president.
The new officers include: President, Kaye Fancher; vice president, Helen Cohn; recording secretary, Gladys Malmrose; corresponding secretary, Eloise Smil treasurer, Mildred Mauerhan.
Preceding the installation, members of the Anaheim chapter enjoyed a delicious dinner and the music of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chance who played in duet Choins Military Polonaise and Hollis Valse. Josephine Chance is member of Beta Sigma Phi.
YLI Names Delegates to Grand Convention
Election of delegates to the joint YMI-YLI Grand Convention in Oakland beginning June 18 was conducted at a meeting of Anaheim YLI this week. Named to represent the club were Bonnie Jollisaint and Marie Martin, alternates, Agnes Zinda and Gertrude Carter. Elsie Benner, president, will also attend.
It was announced that Agnes Zinda, district deputy, would make her official visit to Hertman Institute No. 76 in San Diego Monday evening, May 14. A potluck dinner at 6:30 in St. Patrick's Hall, 30th and University sts. will precede the meeting.
Anaheim YLI members who attended the joint council meeting on districts 11 and 17, held in St. Mary's hall Fullerton on April 29 were Adeline McBride, Mary Ellen Grady and Elisse Benner. The meeting was presided over by Agnes Zinda, district deputy, and Helen Krom, grand director. Plans were formulated for the Grand Convention in Long Beach.
Bridge - canasta - tripoli party will be held in the home of Margaret Shibn, 425 N. Pine st. with Regina Czapla as co-hostess on Thursday, May 24, at 7:30.

Popular Bride-Elect Honored At Shower
Miss Rose Marie Murray was feted at a bridal shower this week by Miss Betty Saunders and Mrs. Bill Mills in the home of Mrs. Emma Stankey, grandmother of the hostess at 10772 E. Broadway.
Mrs. Myrtia Saunders was a co-hostess. Prizes for games played were awarded to Mrs. Harold L. Murray, mother of the honoree; Mrs. Clyde Reist, aunt of the honoree and Miss Rosal Miller.
A white lacy umbrella hung above the mantel in the living room and was complemented by a white heart pierced by a red arrow placed on the mantel.

Mother-Daughter Party Draws 200
The annual Mother-Daughter banquet of the Women's Fellowship of the Presbyterian church, held Wednesday evening, was a very successful one with over 200 present.
The social hall was beautifully decorated to resemble an outdoor garden with pastel flowers and vines. Each table had a center piece of pastel flowers arranged in a pink and silver May basket with pink and green candles on each side. The background of the stage was beautiful stained glass window between two marble pillars, flanked by two tall white candelabra. Mrs. O. H. Renner, Mrs. J. M. Casey and Mrs. F. B. Morley arranged this beautiful setting and Mrs. Tom Scott.
President Mrs. Page Vincent extended a welcome to the daughters with a greeting from the daughters.
A corsage was given to each of the following: Mrs. Grace Chapman the oldest Mother present, Mrs. Gordon Morely being the youngest mother, Mrs. Fred Liebi, the mother with the youngest baby, Mrs. Ernest Wheaton had the most daughters present and Mrs. A. D_4 Couse had the largest family.
Mrs. L.S.Ross program chairman presented a very delightful program. A Tribute to Mothers' Love was given by Kathy Morris. Three songs, a hymn, Fairest Lord Jesus, a Negro spiritual and a Mother's Day song were sung by Rachel Coldwater, Miriam Congdon, Yvonne Fitz with Peggy Kohlenberger accompanist.

Girl Scout Camp Folders Ready For Mailing
All intermediate and Brownie Fly-Up Girl Scouts will be receiving their established and day camp folders within the next few days. Northern Orange county Girl Scouts are responsible for the day camp folder and Anaheim Scouts are responsible for the established camp folder.
Mr. and Mrs. Don May, 1011 Sycamore st., members of the established camp committee, used photographs taken at this mountain camp last year in designing the Camp San Antonio folder this year. The SQR headquarters for all Girl Scouts clothing and equipment financed the printing of the
