Pilgrimage Play At White Temple
"The Pilgrimage Play," the greatest story ever filmed, on the Life of Jesus Christ, will be presented in color by an outstanding Hollywood cast at the White Temple Methodist church, March 19, at 7:30 p.m.
The role of Jesus of Nazareth is played by Nelson Leigh, a veteran of stage and screen. Of the many actors who have performed this exacting role, local church officials say, none has been as unanimously acclaimed as has Mr. Leigh's portrayal. He brings to the part a sincerity born of deep personal religious conviction.
This film is being sponsored by the Association of Christian churches in Anaheim. A free will offering will be collected which will be used to help defray the expense of the Release Time Religious Training program in our local grammar schools.
