(Portrait by Paul Kent) Miss Jane Howorth Is Bride of Leron Hester in Service at Pasadena Chapel Pasadena's beautiful Chapel of the Roses was the setting Sunday evening for candlelight services which united Miss Jane Howorth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Briggs Howorth of Verdugo View Drive, Los Angeles and Leron Hester, son of the Orva L. Hester's of this city. The prominent young Los Angeles socialite chose for her wedding a gown of white lace over satin. The full skirt fell into myriads of tiny accordian pleats at the hipline and the fitted bodice, buttoned to the waist, ended in a brief collar. On her white prayer book she carried a delicate spray of lilies of the valley and a white orchid. Maid of honor, Miss Virginia Burr and bridesmaids, Jean Lubratisch and Levene Hester, wore cocoa brown net over green and carried yellow tulips. James Palmer was best man and ushers were William Griffin, Dick Hargrove and Sterling Meyer. Receiving guests with the couple, Mrs. Howorth wore a gown in green lace and Mrs. Hester wore champagne lace. 150 guests attended the reception. The bride is now attending the University of California at Berkeley where she affiliated with Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.
