Social and Activities Pat Terrebo Loftin Family Together More Than 18 Years ago The best Christmas gift they could have asked for was shared this month by the Loftin family when the entire group was reunited for the first time in nearly two decades at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Merriman in Placentia. Although the brothers and sisters have always kept in close touch with each other through correspondence, this was the first time that several of them had seen each other. Several of the older children had left home before the younger were born. So long had their separation been that two brothers meeting in Los Angeles, failed to recognize each other. The family are children of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Loftin of Missouri, and include Joe Loftin of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Merriman of Placentia, Olus Loftin of San Gabriel, Ben Loftin of Beaumont, Mrs. Mattie Grudier of Fullerton, Mrs. Gladys Bond of Broken Arrow, Okla., Bryan Loftin of Los Angeles, John of Huntington Beach, FIRST SLICE of their beautifully decorated wedding cake is cut by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Reynolds Say Vows in Evening Services Friday Candlelight services before the impressive sanctuary of St. Andrews Episcopal church in Fullerton united Miss Charlotte Hinch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Norwood of Anaheim and Arthur W. Reynolds, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Reynolds, also of this city. The quiet evening rites were performed by the Rev. Ralph Pease before a small gathering of relatives and friends. For her wedding ensemble the bride chose a smartly tailored suit of soft grey herringbone with accessories in navy blue. She carried a cluster of orchids in her bouquet. Maid of honor and her only attendant was Miss Roberta Stillman of La Habra who wore a navy blue suit with grey accessories. George Nicholas was best man and Eleanor Wolf was organist. Following the service the family gathered at the Norwood residence in Freeway Park where the bride and bridegroom cut and shared the first slice of a beautifully decorated wedding cake. The bride is attending Fullerton High school and will complete her studies this year. Her husband is in service with the United States Navy and is stationed at Seattle. Mrs. Anna Siegle, director of the conservatory, received guests at the door and opened the program with the reading of the Christmas story from the Bible.
