Consider Time When Mailing Yuletide Gifts For many a serviceman overseas this year Santa Claus assumes an entirely different personality. True, he has the traditional long white beard and part of his costume is red but they know him better as Uncle Sam. All of their Christmas gifts are entrusted to his delivery and he can't do a good job of seeing that they arrive on time if they aren't mailed early. Right now is the time to get packages off to make sure they reach their destination by Christmas. From all indications the mail load this year will be the heaviest in history and it is wise to remember that the farther the gift must travel the earlier it should be pailed. Double wrapping is an extra precaution to be observed in mailing. First wrap the gift in brightly colored paper and ribbon; over this place several thicknesses of corrugated paper or heavy cardboard and finally, wrap in heavy brown paper and tie with a strong cord. It is advisable also to check with your post office on current postal rates overseas. STRANGE BEDFELLOW MUAR, Malaya (P)—Hasnah, a 21-year-old married Malay woman. Don’t Wait To Do Shopping At Last Minute "It was the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring" because the whole family was downtown doing their last minute Christmas shopping. If this sounds familiar try avoiding the eleventh hour frenzy this year by doing your shopping early. An hour late and a dollar short won't be your motto if you start right now while your favorite stores are stocked with fresh and exciting merchandise for the holidays. You will also discover that buying early and spacing your shopping trips eases budget strain as well as physical fatigue. Replace last minute trudging with the more pleasant aspects of pre-holiday fun. She does this because she thinks the python is the reincarnation of her mother-in-law. Tuan Haji Yunos, her husband, said he dreamed three days after his mother's death that she had come to the house in the form of a python. Then the python came. Hasnah and the python seem to get along well. But the big snake's appetite is enormous. It consumes 7 pounds of meat every morning and evening. Visit Our Parks.
