Thieves Go Whole Hog, Take Doc's Auto This Time
About a week ago someone swiped a doctor's bag containing medical instruments out of the back seat of Dr. John W. Truxaw's automobile.
He was carrying another set back there last night when thieves again struck—only this time they didn't even leave the car.
Truxaw was driving his son's car last night when he stopped at the DeGroff delicatessen on N. Los Angeles st. As he entered he was passed by a group of boys just coming out of the store. They hopped in their own and Truxaw's cars and drove off.
Besides the instruments, the bag also contained a small amount of narcotics.

The engineer who testified yesterday, Joe Charipar, said the first of two handmade cars was given 14 coats of paint. He said this was done to give the impression, by use of different colors, that several cars had been produced.
