Kay Kroeger Repeats Vows with Olen Watkins in Double Ring Service Sunday
Miss Kay Kroeger, attractive brunette daughter of Mrs. H. F. Kroeger of N. Pine st., Anaheim, was a lovely bride as she repeated vows Sunday afternoon with Olen Watkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Watkins of this city.
A brief peplum accented the back of her fitted suit jacket, fashioned from wool gabardine in a soft beige shade. Accessories were in navy blue and she wore a yellow orchid corsage.
Mrs. Lita Stolz, maid of honor, wore a forest green suit with grey accessories and a corsage of yellow carnations.
Warren Stolz was best man.
The Rev. H. G. Schmelzer performed the service at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Martenet, 719 N. Olive st., Anaheim. Mrs. Martenet is an aunt of the bride.
Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Martenet, Mrs. Robert Steaffens and Mrs. Genevieve Sieg, an aunt.
Mrs. Kroeger wore a grey suit with black accessories and a pink carnation corsage and Mrs. Watkins wore a maroon suit with navy blue accessories and a carnation corsage.
New address of the couple, following a one week honeymoon,

Parents Urged To Cooperate In School Dance
Rules for Fremont P-TA sponsored social dancing classes were released today by Don K. Derr of the city recreation department. Derr will conduct the classes for seventh and eighth grade pupils in the Fremont school gym.
Classes will start promptly at 7 p.m. and will conclude at 8 p.m. Boys will be expected to dress in sport shirts and slacks, no T-shirts, levis or metal taps on shoes; girls will dress appropriately.
Registration at the door will be required at each class. There will be no pass-outs during class and children leaving before 8:30 p.m. will not be re-admitted.
All children taking part in the class will be expected to dance; under no circumstances will the classes be considered date affairs. All children will be expected to dance with other children in the class without discrimination. Proper manners and behavior will be stressed as well as dance steps.
Parents may attend at any time and have been requested to help with the worthwhile project.

Husmann-Victor Autumn Rites at Capilla Chapel
Chrysanthemums in vibrant autumn shades decorated the candlestick chapel of Capilla de San Antonio Saturday evening for the marriage of Miss Augusta M. Hussman, daughter of Mrs. H. Hussman of S. Dickle st., and the late Henry Husmann, to Marshall O. Victor of Anaheim. The Rev. Edwin H. Pflug of Zion Lutheran church performed the single ring service.
The bride repeated her vows in a smartly styled green gabardine suit with contrasting fabric detail at the shoulder line. Candlelight blouse and brown accessories completed her ensemble. Her corsage was fashioned from green orchids.
Mrs. Vernon Ruther was matron of honor and wore a tan suit with complimentary pink blouse and brown accessories. A pink rosebud corsage was pinned to the shoulder of her suit.
Vernon Ruther was best man and ushers were cousins of the bridegroom, Frank Arthur and Lester Van Nest.
Mrs. Kenneth Akin, soloist, sang "Because" and "O Perfect Love", accompanied by Mrs. Clara Faust at the organ.
Reception followed the ceremony with Mrs. Charles H. Mulligan attending the guest book.
For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Husmann wore a blue dress with red rosebud corsage, and Mrs. Victor wore brown with a similar corsage.
Following a honeymoon trip to Carmel and San Francisco the Victors will return to Anaheim where they will establish residence. The bride is a graduate of Anaheim High school and is employed in the office of the Van Oil co. in Anaheim as a bookkeeper.
The bridegroom is a senior engineering aid with the County Road dept. in Santa Ana and is the son of Mrs. O. C. Victor of 921 N. Helena st.
State High School Reader Speaks on P-TA Congress
Anneth W. Rich, State High School service chairman, who is to California Congress of Grants and Teachers, Fourth District, at a meeting held in Fulham High School, emphasized a child should attain a philology of life that would enable him to live happily with people. stressed that identity of education wasn’t as important as city of opportunity.
Hats of the Month were worn; members who exemplified anti-Teacher magazines and athletics through the “Publica-Fashion Review” with Mrs. Croswhite of Garden Grove,azine chairman, as narrator. Its taking part were Mmes. E. Finley of Westminster; Ly-Sutton, La Habra; W. A. Agg. Huntington Beach; Edgar Newport Beach; Richard Hy, La Habra; Paul Apple-Garden Grove; Edwin Kates, Mitos.
Musical program consisted of instrumental trio of Fullerton High School. Mrs. Foster M. Warwick, vice president, was program man for the day. Various chairmen explained and presented suggestions from their writings.

Hallowe’en Party For Janis Miner’s Second Birthday
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gledhill, 411 N. Emily st., honored their small granddaughter, Janis Miner, on her second birthday with a party in the Hallowe’en motif.
Clever merry go round cake and a delicious lunchcon were served to guests and their mothers. Games were played during the afternoon with caps and favors for the children.
Youngsters attending were Gayle Alice Miner, sister of the guest of honor; Carrol Lee Holland, Terry Holland, Sherry Kay Miner, Eddie Paul Miner and younger brother, and Betsy Wagner.

Student Parade Will Celebrate Anniversary
Whittier College's Fiftieth Anniversary will be commemorated in the annual Homecoming program on the Poet campus Saturday, October 28. A huge parade of the day 50 years ago when a small Quaker college was established on the hills of the town.
In connection with the theme consisting of over 30 floats and displays will motor down the main streets of Whittier in honor of this year's parade, "A Half Century of Service," many floats will depict early scenes and historic occasions in the College's life. The parade, one of the largest ever staked by students, will highlight a day of activity for the more than 500 alumni and friends of the College expected to gather on campus.
Visiting Mr. and Mrs. James Gay of 551 So. Helena st., have been Mr. and Mrs. Al Gay and Mrs. George Brook from Pueblo, Colo. This is Mrs. Brook's first visit to California.
VFW auxiliary will meet tonight 8 p.m., at the VFW hall, 103 No. Philadelphia.
