Ikettes to Loan Conservation Films
Ikettes met at the home of Mrs. Dick Martin, 1440 E. Center st., Monday evening to run films strips on conservation which they have decided to purchase for the County Library for Schools. These films may be used by any teacher for grammar schools or high schools.
Ruth Flynn, Elaine Henry and Marion Wick were elected for a nominating committee. November 15th is the date set for the next social at the American Legion hall, to be given by the Ikettes.
Hostesses for the meeting were Elaine Henry and Meadow Board.
Personal Items
Regular meeting of Anaheim WSCS will be held tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. with all women interested in the prayer group invited. Luncheon will be served at 12 noon and at 1 p.m. Rev. Owen Geer, pastor of Fullerton Methodist will speak. Mrs. Paul Sanford will be guest soloist.
Mrs. Milton Spencer, president of Anaheim Ebeil club, and Mrs. W. E. Whiteman, vice president, attended a reciprocity tea at Orange Woman's club Monday afternoon. Don Blanding was guest artist.

Mrs. Milton Hasell, 7922 E. H., former president of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit S-3, Luena Park and later president of the Orange County American Legion Council, now is rehabilition chairman and is accepting gifts for the Christmas shop hospitalized veterans. All contributions should reach Mrs. H. by Nov. 15 when she will them to the Long Beach Veterans hospital.
The gifts should be new suitable. Veterans are asked to send gifts for their families and ones. There is a published list preferred gifts and it is available by contacting Mrs. Hasell Stantonites are urged to assist this very worthy cause.
Mr. and Mrs. John Beaver, Court st., returned today two weeks vacation down south. They visited John's mother, L. V. Beavers in Texas. Sh friends here having visited son several times.
The Beaver's also visited c in Alabama.
Mrs. Edith Bowman and year old daughter, Annette, Court st., are back home, a week's trip to visit friends in tana.
