Anaheim frosh are no exception to this and have taken quite an active part in the numerous activities. Carol Hochuli of this city was recently named concert mistress of the high school-junior college orchestra. Well-known in these parts for her ability as a violinist, Carol graduated from Anaheim Union high school last June, where she also served as concert mistress of the high school orchestra. Former Anaheim high school majorette Darleen Morris is still twirling her baton, but now it's at the head of the Junior college Hornet band, led by Drum Major Duane White of Orange. Freshman Carol McDermott and sophomore Beverly Roberts, two popular Anaheim co-eds, have teamed up with Joan Ireland, Ann Batterman and Barbara Yarbough to lead the school songs at games and rallies.
