Borough of July celebration to be held
on Huntington Beach July 1, 2, 3,
1950, stated today that the enteries already received insure anther huge parade July 4th with
"Our Golden Heritage" as a theme.
The celebration will open with
the crowning of the queen at the
Pavalon Ballroom. An air show at
the Huntington Beach airport has
been scheduled for Sunday afternoon, July 2, and will feature
many sensational air stunts.
Tuesday, July 4, will be the
big day with the gigantic Golden
California centennial parade starting at 11 am. Governor Earl Warren has been invited to be the Grand Marshall. Among the many marching units who will appear
in the line of march is Sybil Ring's majorettes of this city.
