Caller Cliff Curtis and his popular orchestra played for a large number of squares comprising Elk members and square dance enthusiasts last Tuesday evening.
A reasonable admission will be charged at this week's old-fashioned "hoe-down," Warren Ashley, house-manager, stated.

CURKEY-CELERY CASSEROLE
Cook 2 cups chopped celery un-tender; drain, saving water. Heat 4 tablespoons turkey fat (or butter), stir in 4 tablespoons flour, add 2 teaspoons salt and a dash of pepper. Gradually add 1 cup turkey stock, ½ cup milk and ½ cup water drained from celery. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Spread layer of turkey in greased casserole (using 2 cups diced cooked turkey in all). Add layer of celery, another layer of turkey, and so on. Pour sauce over top. Sprinkle with 1 cup corn flakes which have been crushed into fine crumbs and mixed with melted butter. Bake at 400 F. about 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Six servings.
