Three-year-old Frances Smith, cousin of the bride, clad in a frock of rose taffeta, a replica of the bride's gown, was the flower girl. Ring bearer was Mark Reade, 4, nephew of the bride. Serving as best man was Don Barnhart.
Nuptial soloists were Nathan Reade and Harold Todd who sang "The Lord's Prayer," "Because" and "Oh Promise Me." They were accompanied by Mrs. Maxon Foss, organist of the First Baptist church of Fullerton, who played the traditional wedding music.
Immediately following the ceremony, the more than 150 relatives and friends present offered their best wishes and congratulations.
Mrs. Smith, the bride's mother, chose a black ensemble worn with pink accessories and a corsage of white and pink carnations for the occasion. Mother of the bride-groom, Mrs. Waas, was attired in a teal blue ensemble accented with brown accessories and a white and pink carnation corsage.
White and pink gladioli were arranged throughout the church basement where the reception was held after the nuptials. Mary Lee Smith and Mrs. N. L. Reade assisted with the hostess duties.
After cutting and sharing the first piece of their wedding cake, the young couple left for a five-day honeymoon at Big Bear. For traveling the new Mrs. Holliday chose a navy blue gabardine outfit worn with dark red accessories and her bridal corsage.
Upon their return the couple will live in Pasadena where the bridegroom is associated with the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company.
The bride is a senior at the Los Angeles General hospital School of Nursing and plans to continue her studies there with her twin sister, Evelyn Smith. She is a French, stating that the packages will be mailed into the Soviet zone from stockpiles in other parts of Europe, said:
