OK Architect's Presbyterian Church Plans The green light was given architectural plans for the new Presbyterian church, as presented by Arval Morris of the committee with Architect G. Stanley Wilson of Riverside, during the annual congregational business meeting in the church's social hall Wednesday night of last week. Architect Wilson will be instructed to prepare final blueprints of the proposed building on West Broadway at Clementine street, in order that the project might be put up for bids from the contractors. Milo C. Sharp, over-all chairman of the building committee, opened the meeting by presenting Harry Peterson, chairman of the new building executive committee, who presented a comprehensive report and introduced his entire committee to the large group present. This committee comprises Mrs. D. Jerry Youngs, Mrs. Jesse G. Hilleary, Frank N. Glbbs, Dr. L. Kenneth Heuler, Albert H. Kirchmann, Arval Morris, Lloyd Ross, Sid T. Hammon and Rector Coons. In his report of the treasury of the new building fund Ross stated that on hand and in pledges the fund totalled $117,300. Kirchmann, in his report for the music committee, recommended that the church trustees be authorized to place an organ on order with the Aeolin-Skinner Company in Massachusetts. Upon authority of several nationally known organists, the new instrument will be a two-manuel pipe organ. Fronting on West Broadway, the proposed building will be adjacent to the present educational building. The new sanctuary and church chapel will be surrounded by a cloistered Garth which is the ecclesiastical synonym of a patio. This patio will, in effect, join the new structure with the educational building. Morris' committee, with Architect Wilson, studied all requests of the congregation concerning needs of the building, previous to the drawing up of the rough sketch. The present plans are in agreement with the church's needs, the Rev. Howard S. Congdon, church pastor and ex-officio member of all committees stated. The rector expressed the hope that ground-breaking will take place sometime during the latter part of this summer. Hildebrand Rites Held Saturday Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa B.
