SOCIAL AND CLUB ACTIVITIES OF THE WEEK GRACE THOMPSON—Phone 2206 Mrs. Anna Siegel Entertains with Annual Xmas Party Even though the Christmas holiday was celebrated three days before the official day, the annual Christmas party of the Anaheim Conservatory of Music, Mrs. Anna Siegel director, proved to spread the real Christmas spirit among the fifty guests, pupils and their proud parents, proud because the children played and sung with feeling and ease according to the motto of the conservatory. The large recital room was gay with garlands of red and green intermingled with silver bells and stars, the shining Christmas tree occupying a corner of the room To further enhance the center of the decorative scheme, the tree had old-fashioned candles, which were not lighted, guarded by a huge Polar bear supposed to have been brought from Alaska by Santa Claus. Mrs. Siegel received the guests wearing a black and white formal and as she opened the program she explained the real meaning of Christmas, that the Christ child had come to bring peace and joy to the world, concluding this portion of the program by reading the story from the Bible of life birth of the Savior just as a curtain opened and portrayed the child in the manger with Mary at his side, who was portrayed by Mary Lou Gastellum wearing a ful chrome table with stain and waterproof top and four chairs to Mr. and Mrs. Mings from all their employees.
