Beverly Fick,
Warren Howard
Wed Sunday
Before an altar arranged with white asters, chrysanthemums and lighted tapers, Miss Beverly Fick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Fick, 872 South Palm street, Anaheim, became the bride of Warren Grant Howard, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Howard, 417 South Citron street, this city, in Capilla de San Antonio chapel, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. L. E. Eifert, pastor of Zion Lutheran church of Anaheim, reading the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was lovely in an off-shoulder gown of white satin accented with a net yoke and bustle back. She wore a finger-tip length veil. Traditional sentiment was found in "something blue," a lace handkerchief belonging to her grandmother, a necklace, gift from the bridegroom and an anklet borrowed from a close friend.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride's bouquet was a white orchid resting on a white Bible.
Only attendant to the bride was her sister, Miss Wanda Fick, who wore a gown of light orchid taffeta fashioned off-the-shoulder and accented with a net yoke and a peplum.
Serving as best man was Arnold Errol Howard, Jr., brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Messers V. Jacobsen and Petersen.
John Lindsey, nuptial soloist, sang "Because" and "The Lord's Potts, sister of the bride, presided at the guest book. Both Mrs. Arnold and Mrs. Fick had corsages of white carnations.
For travelling the bride chose a navy blue suit accented with pink accessories and the orchid she carried during the ceremony.
Mrs. Arnold chose a green dress and black accessories while the bride's mother, Mrs. Fick, wore a brown dress with biege accessories.
The newlyweds are both graduates of Anaheim Union high school. The bridegroom is a mechanic at his father's garage in this city. The bride is employed at the M.C.P. plant office.
