Placentia Meet Set for Young GOP Units Tonight Members of the Anaheim and Fullerton Young Republican units will attend a "vacation meeting" night (Thursday) at the estate Mrs. A. L. Harpster of the Anaheim unit and Paul Huff of the Fullerton unit stated that the state will be open entirely tonight to the Young Republicans. Concluding the evening's activities will be a varied entertainment program, GOP spokesmen noted. 2,165 Claims Filed For Unemployment Unemployment insurance claims in the Santa Ana Department of employment office for the week ending June 24 totaled 2,165, it is reported here today. Out of the total claims filed, the department paid 1,396, the report said. Although the total number of claims filed during the week throughout the state totaled 219,-1, a decrease from 268,794 filed the same week a year ago, the number of new claims for insurance increased. There were 24,138 new claims filed in the state, compared to 22,501 for the same area. Altrusans Enjoy Dinner-Program At Padua Hills Twenty members of the Anaheim Altrusa club enjoyed a vacation affair at Padua Hills, famous Mexican-American theater, dining room and gift center, Tuesday evening. While the local group and their guests enjoyed typical "south of the border" culinary creations in the large dining room, waiters and theater members presented regional folk dances of Mexico. The entertainers wore traditional colorful costumes and played native music with Latin fire, according to club spokesmen. A tour of the grounds and varied stops concluded the affair.
