Other Lenski students appearing on the program included Kenneth Sörenson, Richard Woolfe, Phillip La Morl, Wendell Taylor, Regina Zirkelbach, Sue Haukenberry, Genevieve Bradley, Janet Ray, Judith La Morl, Jacquelyn Shaw, Harriet Stolte, Marlyn Keniston, Philip Taylor and Priscilla Orman.

Christmas Seals To Be Mailed to County Residents
With Christmas "right around the corner", the Orange County Tuberculosis and Health association announced today that approximately $31,000 will be required to meet their budget in 1947, explaining that the sale of Christmas seals is the only means available to them for raising the money needed.
Rev. Fred W. Niedringhaus, chairman of the seal campaign, is mailing out sheets of Christmas seals to all residents of the county, requesting that each person buy as many seals as possible in order to make the drive a success.
"Health Bonds" are also available at the association in amounts ranging from five to five hundred dollars. These may be purchased along with the seals on request.
"The time has again come when you and I may make our gift in behalf of our community's fight against tuberculosis", said Rev. Niedringhaus. "In our effort to stamp out this dread disease, the association has banded together with similar organizations in all parts of our land. For over forty years our common struggle has continued, and with impressive results. However, tuberculosis is still responsible for the death of 55,000 Americans each year. The fight must go on!"
It may be well to note that all contributions to this worthy cause may be deducted on the individual donor's income tax return!
All checks should be made payable to T. Gray Johnston, treasurer. Currency may be mailed directly to the association in the return envelope provided.

Incoming Drivers Set New Record
More automobiles have entered the state of California during the first nine months of this year than during any previous entire year, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California, which announced this week that 1,405,488 vehicles, including 715,329 out-of-state cars have checked into the state during the three-quarter period of 1946. These figures surpass by more than 100,000 the former high annual entry total of 1,299,214 cars, established in 1941.
In revealing the record-breaking statistics, the Automobile club also disclosed that an all-time have crossed the state line by car this year during the nine-month period, an increase of more than a quarter-million over the entire 1941 total of 3,604,361 persons. These tabulations do not include "local" travelers on short trips across the state line.
Additional travel records were also established during the recent third quarter period of July, August and September when 1,754,257 passengers crossed the state line enroute to California, the club reported. These are the highest three-month entry figures in the history of the state.
Statistics were based on information received by the Automobile club from 18 checking stations located on key highways and roads entering the state of California.
