Do-Nut Shop Opens On Lemon Street
Spooners Do-Nuts, a modern shop serving doughnuts, coffee and fountain drinks and jointly owned and operated by Paul E. and Taze B. Spooner, had its initial opening here Saturday at 114 S. Lemon street.
Sporting a clever neon sign over the door to attract passersby, the inside of the shop is clean and inviting. Doughnuts will be made on the spot by modern methods, making them available and fresh for local fanciers of the hole-in-one pastry, the new owners said this week.
"Our modern production methods, plus old established building procedure, will give you A HOME of lasting beauty, simplicity and distinction."

Aquatics Popular With Teen-Agers
The recreational swimming period for junior high school members of the Teen Canteen every Monday afternoon from 3:30 to 4:00 o'clock at the AUHS pool is proving to be a highly popular addition to the extensive youth program featured by the canteen. More than 25 boys and girls are now members of the "swim fest" since its origination two weeks ago.
Plenty of lively competition and fun are reported also from the recently organized badminton classes meeting every Monday and Wednesday night in the Anaheim High school boys' gym under the direction of Richard Glover, school athletic coach and canteen advisor. With facilities for nine courts, these tournaments are automatically open to all canteen members.

The first 8 chapters outline the development of the method of scientific right thinking, explains what a treatment is and how to treat. The book is well indexed. The nine chapters of treatments which define the handling of almost any ill or error the mortal is heir to, are without a peer. They show how anyone who sincerely wishes to can use and demonstrate his knowledge of God.
