Tires may be purchased now, after proper application and approval is obtained from the local board, by the following: 1. Persons using their cars for occupational purposes. 2. Persons using their cars for non-occupational purposes provided that the board decides that denial of the application would work a hardship on the applicant. 3. Formerly, only persons who had to operate their cars at high speeds were eligible for new tires for use as spares. 4. Persons living in house trailers which need tires.
