Anaheim Couple Exchange Vows Miss Nancy Fern Faubian, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira M. Faubian of 820 South Philadelphia street, became the bride of Jewel J. Wolverton last Saturday evening at 8 o'clock at the Capilla de San Antonio. Rev. Guy Humphries of the Church of Christ read the cisvere. The ceremony was performed before an altar setting of baskets of white gladioli and snapdragons with lighted tapers in candelabra to enhance the natural beauty of the chapel. The processional and recreational marches and prelude were played by Jimmie Johnston of Orange. Virginia Rostvoll of Orange, soloist, sang "Always" and "Because". The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore traditional white satin with a finger-tip veil that fell from a beaded tiara and carried a shower bouquet of pink rosebuds, gardenias, bouvardia and blue delphinium. She was attended by Mrs. William Ruddiman of Santa Ana as matron of honor, who wore a gown of blue marquisette. Maid of honor was Miss Lucille Barnes of Anaheim while Miss Eloise Stanley of Anaheim was bridesmaid. Miss Barnes was gowned in a blue formal identical to the matron of honor's with Miss Stanley wearing pink. They carried identical nosegays of roses, daisies and carnations. Speakers' Forum Hears Book Review Orange County Speakers Forum board members were very delightfully entertained Tuesday morning at breakfast at the home of Mrs. Fred Weisel on South Sunkist with the order of business being the installation of the new officers for 1945-46. The breakfast, served buffet style, was beautifully served from a table centered with an unusual centerpiece of gladioli. The smaller tables at which the guests were seated had, for the theme of decoration, very rare antique vases in the shape of hats and shoes and were filled with tiny garden flowers. Gladioli were used throughout the rooms of the home. Members of the board are Mrs. Weisel, president; Mrs. George Page, Mrs. Al Raymond, Mrs. G. T. Wycoff and Mrs. Earl Phillips, the latter two of Santa Ana. One of the most interesting and unusual book reviews presented to this group during the past year was presented by Mrs. H. D. Newkirk, "Home to India" by Santha Rama Rau, an Indian girl who was educated in America and in England, and who, in her book, very graphically portrays life among these peoples. Mrs. Leta Smith, installing officer, presented the following officers for the new year: Mrs. E. H. Smith of Orange, president; Mrs. Reuben Day of Costa Mesa, vice-president; Mrs. J. Orlan Smith, Garden Grove, secretary; Mrs. Fred Rowland, Santa Ana, treasurer and Mrs. Millie Frank CO-ED HONORED Miss Marilee Arnold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Sahile Arnold of this city, was one of six women students recently honored at the University of Redlands.
