That wisdom is our God is exemplified in the mi-unity of our God, and in the workings of each person of the unity for our life here on earth and in glory. The Father creates and preserves unto us our bodily needs. God the Son, our Savior, redeems us, buys us back from evil, with the price of His blood in Calvary. CHRISTIAN SCIENCE "I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee." this quotation from Jeremiah will be the Golden Text in the Sunday Lesson-Sermon on "God the Preserver of Man" in all branches of the Mother Church, the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston. A scriptural selection from Deuteronomy relates that "Moses called all Israel, and said unto them . . . thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up . . . Then thou shalt say unto thy son . . . the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day." Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures:" "Man was not created from a material basis, nor bidden to obey material laws which spirit never made; his province is in spiritual statutes, in the higher law of Mind." GAS COMPANY TO TEST COOKERS FREE Southern Counties Gas company is now prepared to test pressure cooker gages for customers, was announced today by Fred G. Marker, company district manager. It will be necessary to have the cookers brought into gas company offices by their owners, he said, as transportation and manpower shortages prohibit a pick-up and delivery service. Some WAVES are assigned to duty stations as soon as they complete this basic training. Others are sent to schools in Georgia, Florida, New Jersey, Ohio, Indiana, Oklahoma or other places for specialized training. Does the Navy provide transportation to the training school? Yes, also subsistence en route. How much civilian clothing should be taken to the training station? Enough for a week or two.
