Stanton, 40 years of age, passed away very suddenly while on a business trip to San Francisco last weekend. His body was shipped back to this city from where funeral services were held. Mr. Stanton was born in Walla Walla., Feb. 4, 1904, has lived at the family home, 500 South Ohio, for the past two and a half years. He was an accountant for the Hunt Brothers Corporation in Fullerton and was on business for that firm at the time fo his death. He lived in the state of California for the past twelve years. Left to mourn his passing are his widow, Mrs. Ree Stanton, 500 South Ohio; two sons, Kevin and John of the home; two brothers, L. L. Stanton of Anaheim and Jean of Walla Walla, Wash.; his mother, Mrs. Ada M. Stanton of Walla Walla. His mother and brother from Washington are here for the funeral. Funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday) from the chapel of Backs, Campbell & Kaulbars Mortuary, with Rev. Earl R. Berg, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairhaven cemetery.
