Gay hats, perky hats, beret flower bedecked chapeaux fashioned like those from the leading stylists were made in miniature and encased in decorative miniature hat boxes, as gay and intriguing as ever came from a John Frederick shop. Each table had a center piece one of these very attractive creations combined with gay colorful napkins to add to the festive scheme, the tiny hatboxes with the latest creation being given to the low score holder each table at the conclusion of the playing.
A colorful row of these boxes were arranged across the front of the spacious stage in the clubroom with larger boxes forming the background for them, these holding the bridge score and door awards. Arranged on the table in the lounge was a large hatbox laying on the side and out of which was arranged an informal spray of gayly colored spring flowers. The mantle of the lounge
