Holland Weds Naval Office LT. AND MRS. LESTER GRAINGER One of the most beautiful weddings of the season took place Saturday at 4 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church in Fullerton when Miss Grace Simon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Simon of 401 Cannon Lane, Fullerton and Lt. Lester Milton Grainger, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Grainger of Orangethorpe road, exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony. Rev. Father John Stapleton performed the ceremony in the presence of 300 guests. Organ numbers were played by Mrs. Lestér Semans and Miss Emilia Celoni sang "The Rosary" by Nevins and "Ave Maria." The altar was beautifully banked with two large baskets of white spring flowers and many white tapers. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was beautifully gowned in an heirloom dress of creamy white satin and lace. The gown was fashioned with a long train with which she wore a short tulle and lace veil and carried a bouquet of white carnations. Miss Lillian Fuller of Anaheim was the maid of honor and was attractively gowned in a light salmon pink frock of gorgette and satin. With it she wore a small cap veil of blue with pink flowers and carried a large bouquet of pink and blue flowers. The three bridesmaids were Anita and Juanita Simon, twin sisters of the bride and Dolores Lindauer who wore identical dresses of blue crepe and satin, blue gloves and tiny pink veils with blue flowers. They carried bouquets of pink sweet peas. Staff Sgt. Richard Grainger, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man and the ushers were Seaman James Vetter, William Spencer, Raymond Pothe, Paul Coronel and Craig Grainger. Petite Sally Grainger of Fresno and Diana Schroeder were flower girls and were lovely in gold colored frocks, while Master Gary Grainger of Fullerton, ring bearer, wore an army aviation uniform, identical to that of the bridegroom. An unusual part of the wedding ceremony was the Spanish custom of the bride's family which the bride carried out when she took the white bouquet of flowers from little Diana Schroeder and placed it upon the altar just after the completion of the ceremony. Following the ceremony 200 guests attended the reception that was given in the beautiful home of the bride's parents. Mrs. Simon and Mrs. Grainger received the guests, Mrs. Simon wearing a smart formal frock of gray blue and gardenia corsage. Mrs. Grainger was attired in a formal rose colored gown and wore a corsage of pink carnations and violets. The bride cut the first piece of the three tiered wedding cake after which her aunt, Mrs. Earl Fuller of Anaheim, served the rest of it. Mrs. Charles Craemer of Santa Ana and Mrs. Thelma Curvas of San Diego assisted at the coffee urns. Following a brief honeymoon at Santa Barbara the newly weds will leave for Louisiana where Lt.
