Once again Anaheim went over the top with a bang. We can all take pride in the achievement. Anaheim is the kind of a town one is proud to be a part of. The people of Anaheim have the spirit to make this a better town. They have what it takes. Anaheim is looked upon as the outstanding 6th class City of Southern California. Anaheim is this kind of a town because we have a group of men and women who are willing to pitch in and do their part when duty calls. This is a challenge to some of us who side step when we are called. Anaheim needs and can always use more workers in the field of civic endeavor: To get the real enjoyment out of being an Anaheimer is to feel that you are taking a part in its affairs. A town is only a good town when every one is willing to share a part of the responsibility of building its good name. You can help Anaheim and by so doing Anaheim will help you. Young people can well afford to take on this work for it will broaden them in character and reputation and they will be building stepping stones to the future that will lead to real citizenship.
