ST. BONIFACE Services on Christmas Day have been planned at the Church of St. Boniface by the Rev. Henry W. Gross, pastor, and his assistant pastors, the Rev. Frs. Michael Galvin and James Gallagher. High Mass at 6:45 o'clock Saturday morning and Low Mass at 8 o'clock will feature Christmas carols sung by Marywood Girls' choir. At 9 a.m. Low Mass the music will be presented by the parish school choir. The sermon at this mass will consist of the "Ara Coeli" service by pupils of second and third grades. Marywood Girls' choir will sing also at Low Mass at 10 a.m. and the parish school choir will sing at 11 o'clock High Mass. Mrs. C. Faust will be at the organ. Mass will be followed by the benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. There will be no evening service. BETHEL BAPTIST At Bethel Baptist church of which the Rev. H. G. Christmas music will be broadcast from the church in advance of the program, and as finale to the evening the young people will go caroling. Three short plays will be given, "What Do You Want for Christmas?" by the juniors; "The Light of Loving Giving" by junior girls, and "Silver of the Second Best" by the Busy Bee class of senior girls. Sunday night at 7:30 o'clock, the church choir will present a Christmas concert. Its features will include "Gloria in Excelsis Deo," (Mozart); "There Were Shepherds" (Ashford); "Sing O Heaven" (Tours); ladies' trio, "Glory to God in the Highest" (Pergolesi) by Mesdames W. Schroeder, H. Zachary and H. G. Dymmel. Ladies' sextet, "Behold Ye Bethlehem" (Kohlmann), by Mesdames W. Schroeder, Phil Boettcher, H. Stabbert, E. Sitenhof, E. Grauer and Miss L. Fleischmann. Mrs. Schroeder will sing the soprano solo, "Gesu Bambino" (Yon) with violin obbligato by H. Stabbert, who also will play the violin "Andante" from Mendelssohn's "Concerto." Coast Guardsman E. Dymmel will play a marimba solo and the closing number will be an organ and piano duet, "Christmas Medley" played by Mrs. W. Gooden and Miss E. Leuschner. ST. The choir, under direction of Miss Barbara Vernon, will sing the Tallis Hass. The solo will be by Miss Jessie Thatcher. The Rev. D. Application of the story will be presented by intermediate and senior departments in five episodes. They are "We all need a Savior," "We all have a Savior," "Jesus is the Savior of all Mankind," "We should tell others of our Savior" and "We shall see our Savior in heaven." Abbott, minister of Free Methodist church, will preach on "The Greatest Thing in the World" at 11 a.m. Sunday, and on "Have You Seen the Christ?" at 7:30 p.m. Sunday school,, George E. Wheeler, superintendent, at 9:45 a.m.; both junior church and young people's hour at 6:30 p.m. are other Sunday events. BETHANY CHURCH Oklahoma evangelists, Charles and Edna Stuckey, will conduct services Sunday morning at 11 o'clock and in the evening at 7:30 at Bethany church, 122 South Lemon street, as announced by Herbert W. Ezell, pastor. Assisting the visiting evangelists will be Harold V. Mattson, who will give a musical program in advance of each sermon. The Rev Mr. Stuckey is described by Pastor Ezell as a "red-headed Oklahoma boy full of traditional southern humor, whose sermons are witty, thoughtful and scripturally sound." BUENA PARK CHURCH HAS NEW PASTOR Members of Buena Park Congregational church have welcomed their new pastor, the Rev. Roger Larsen who came to the neighboring community after three years pastorate of Pilgrim Congregational church in Tacoma, Wash. The Rev. Mr. Larsen won his Bachelor of Divinity degree at Union Theological Seminary, New York City, after receiving his B.A. at Linfield College in Oregon.
