Verily, verily I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world... I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever."
Passages from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy state: "As the individual ideal of Truth, Christ Jesus came to rebuke rabbinical error and all sin, sickness, and death—to point out the way of Truth and Life... First in the list of Christian duties, he taught his followers the healing power of Truth and Love. He attached no importance to dead ceremonies. It is the living Christ, the practical Truth, which makes Jesus 'the resurrection and the life' to all who follow him in deed."
