JUNIOR CLASS WILL PRESENT ANNUAL PLAY FRIDAY EVENING
"Bab," a four-act comedy written by Edward Childs Carpenter and first produced on the New York stage with Helen Hays, is the junior class play to be presented tomorrow night in the Anaheim high school auditorium at eight o'clock.
Jean Sutherland, as "Bab," a vivacious young lady who thinks herself more mature than she really is, comes home from college due to an epidemic of measles. She is regarded by her family as a child and sets about to prove to them all that she is really quite grown up. In the ensuing story she fakes a "lover," Guy Grosvenor, portrayed by Tom Hilleary, and helps her sister, Lelia, acted by Charlotte Schooley, to elope, all of which results in quite a mixup.

Orange to Stage Fiesta on May 4
Event Commemorating Start of Valencia Harvest Season is Set
Orange will have another of its annual May Festivals on Saturday, May 4, in which an all day program will be presented. The theme this year is based upon the beginning of the valencia orange harvest season, the title of the celebration being, "Orange Harvest Festival."
The parade will be at 10 o'clock, the horse show at 1:30 o'clock and a girls softball game in the municipal park at 8:15 o'clock in the evening.
Invitation have gone out to some 400 individual horsemen for the parade and horse show, while the ball game will mark the opening contest of the rejuvenated Orange Lionettes. People of the county generally, are invited to spend as much of the day as possible in the Plaza City. This date should be remembered for the reason that originally May 11 was set but was changed in order not to conflict with a celebration of similar nature of Monrovia.

ITS ACTION IS EASIEST!
Tests prove Chevrolet's to be the easiest steering column gearshift to operate. Compared with the two cars next in sales, Chevrolet requires only 2.8 ft.-lb. of effort for a cycle of shifts, against 8.5 for Car B and 14.8 for Car C.
because
ITS LEVER AND ITS "THROW" ARE SHORTER
Because Chevrolet's gearshift is operated by vacuum, it requires less leverage. The lever and its travel or "throw" are the shortest, and that means the quickest shift. Length of Throw: Chevrolet, 4¼"; Car B, 7½"; Car C, 10¾".
because
IT'S EFFORTLESS IN TRAFFIC
Stop and Go—Red and Green—Halt! Start!
That's traffic. And that's where Chevrolet's easy shifting is appreciated. Vacuum does 80% of the work; only 20% is done by the driver. No tugging, no shoving!
