They may look alike, but there's a big difference!
Gas heaters with tanks of Monel or Everdur are practically failure-proof—because free from rust and corrosion. Guaranteed against rust for at least ten years. Actually, tests prove that these tanks last much longer than that!
Water tends to rust and corrode any type of tank that isn't rustproof—regardless of method of heating. And the chief reason for failure of water heaters is due to rust and corrosion.

"When in Rome do as the Romans," is a classic kind of omen, but might lead to complications when applied in Timbucktoo. I can chew with joy on hog leg, and at periods a frog leg, and one evening in a French cafe ate pickled snail for fun; I can even go for chowder, but I'll take a run-out powder at the mere suggestion of a (ugh!) hamburger on a bun.
I'll eat fish and chips for lunch-eon or contentedly will munch on Swedish rye crisp as a diet (with a dash of beef au jus); as a guest I'll eat whatever other people do, but never would I allocate a penny for a dish of Irish stew. Some are nuts for English pancakes, while another dotes on clam bakes, since America is famed for innovations it invokes; I am strong for roasting chickens, but I can't see how the dickens anyone can find a reason for imbibing artichokes.
