Grading of Street Starts This Week
Grading of Commercial street between Patt street and Norlawn street was started the week by the county of Oranje. The city of Anaheim recently completed its task of moving power lines and fences.
Commercial street lies partially within the city limits, and is be opened as soon as grading and oiling work is completed. It will provide a direct route from Lehigh street to the industrial tract.
Stolen Car Found by Anaheim Police
Three hours after Mrs. N. Stevens, 209 S. Citron street, reported the theft of her automobile to Anaheim police Monday evening officers had located the car according to police reports.
The car was stolen from the block on West Center street between 7 and 10:30 o'clock and was found at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the rear of a parking room in the 100 block on Norlawn street.

Frozen Vegetables Stocked by Market
Dick Malmstrom, manager of the vegetable department of the Stop'n Shop market, 344 W. Center street, today announced that he is now stocking a variety of frozen vegetables. The freezing process permits consumers to purchase out-of-season vegetables at no extra cost.
Barbecue Slated by County's Democrats
Orange county democrats will stage a victory barbecue at Ocean Front pavilion, Huntington Beach, on January 28, according to party leaders. H. C. Head, chairman of the 'Orange county' Assembly of Democrats, and Wayne Harrison, chairman of the democratic campaign committee, are co-chairmen in charge of the celebration.

Bolling of Street Starts This Week
Commercial street on Patt street and North street was started this day by the county of Orange. City of Anaheim recently noted its task of moving pow-ers and fences.

Ten Car Found by Anaheim Police

Bridge at Mouth of River Nearly Ready
Traces of last year's spring will be removed from the Newport Beach area with the completion of the concrete bridge across the mouth of the Santa Ana river. According to the Automobile Club of Southern California touring bureau the bridge will be open to coast highway travel by February 1. Refinishing work is now under way on the project.
Anaheim Dairymen Accused by State
Complaints were filed in Anaheim justice court this week by the state department of agriculture charging four Anaheim dairymen with failure to pay assessments under the state agricultural code. Those named are W. K. Yellis, Robert H. Easton, Clarence Todd and H. F. Wichman.
Unconstitutionality of the act is the defense the dairymen will use, it is believed. Hearings were set for April 18.
Woman is Sought in Money Order Theft
A state-wide search has been started for a woman, described as 32 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds, who passed a stolen money order at an Anaheim department store last Tuesday. Store officials failed to identify one suspect picked up yesterday by Anaheim police.
