After counting our hot-water needs-
...we bought a 1939 automatic gas water heater!
It isn't likely that you've ever counted the number of times hot water is required by your family in a day. But it's a known fact that the average family turns on the "hot" faucet a hundred times or more.
That's why a modern automatic gas water heater is almost as necessary as water itself. It gives you all the hot water you need, any time, without attention.
And it saves money. By heating water faster, it cuts down the period during which fuel is used. It eliminates the expense and discomfort of over-heating too, because the temperature is thermostatically controlled. In addition, it brings you the rock-bottom economy of natural gas.

Farm Bureau To Hold Convention
Annual Meeting Planned at Orange Woman's Club on January 19
The third annual county convention of the Orange County Farm Bureau will be held at the Women's club in Orange on January 19. It has been announced by farm bureau officials. The county convention this year, according to S. W. Stanley, chairman of the arrangements committee, is planned with the purpose of giving as much opportunity as possible to the membership of the farm bureau as a whole to learn what the principal projects of the various departments and committees are, and to make suggestions or criticisms of the projects and program of the county organization.
The tentative program provides for reports to be made, beginning at 9:30 in the morning by the chairman of the various departments and standing committees outlining the problems and program of the farm bureau. At noon, luncheon will be served by the ladies of the Women's club, and at 1:30, the session will resume with a general open forum which is scheduled to last until 3:00 o'clock, at which time a speaker of prominence will be on the program.
The experience of these meetings has shown a good response from the membership, it is said, with approximately 250 taking part in the meeting last year. Farm bureau officials have emphasized their desire for a large number of members to be present, in order that a true reflection of the desires of the membership may be
