Kuchel Talks at Fullerton Rally
Pledging his best effort and full support for relief of unemployment and tax reduction, Assemblyman Thomas Kuchel of the 75th district assured his hearers he would "do it all in an American way" when and if he is returned to the state legislature. He addressed a breakfast meeting rally of his northern Orange county campaign committee this morning at the Bit of Scandia cafe in Fullerton.
Major issues in California today are not partisan in nature and should be met and solved without any appeal to party politics," Kuchel asserted.
He attacked proponents of a move to give California a one-house legislature and explained that such a move would give Los Angeles and San Francisco a predominance in representation which could control the state legislature.
GUARDING YOUR LOVED ONES
A marvelous contribution by Medical Science, to the happiness of the average household, has been made in modern Health Education.
Fathers take more systematic care of their own health, and check up periodically, either with the family physician or through the Life Insurance examiner.
Happier Mothers, whose physical well-being is looked after with understanding before, during and after the coming of the children.
Children who are fed, clothed, exercised and generally reared with an adequate appreciation of the value of good health.
Have you been keeping up with what this kind of "guarding" is doing for the nation? Years of activity and health are being added to human life.
From every standpoint it is well worth your while to guard your health.

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCH
"Everlasting Punishment" is the subject of the Lesson-Sermon on Sunday in all Churches of Christ Scientist. The Golden Text is from Micah: "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy; when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me."
The Lesson-Sermon includes this parable of Jesus from the Gospel of Luke: "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican... And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."
