Entertains at Christmas Party
Members of the Anaheim club entertained with the ter's annual Ladies' Night Christmas party Monday evening at the K. P. hall. Followin dinner a program was which featured the present gifts by Emil Heinze. Burliams acted as Santa Claus, ing concluded the evening.
Included on the program vocal solos by Miss Virginia er and William Fackiner, the solo by Wayne Held, comicalings by Fred Engel and man acts by Floyd Stewart. Janice Winget, Miss Ethel bell and Miss Harper were panists to the various numbers.

Entertains at
Christmas Party
Members of the Anaheim 20-30 Club entertained with the chapels annual Ladies' Night and Christmas party Monday evening at the K. P. hall. Following the dinner a program was given, which featured the presentation of plays by Emil Heinze, Burr Williams acted as Santa Claus. Dances concluded the evening.
On the program were special solos by Miss Virginia Harp and William Fackiner, trumpet to Wayne Held, comical readings by Fred Engel and magician by Floyd Stewart. Miss Alice Winget, Miss Ethel Campbell and Miss Harper were accomplices to the various numbers. Others present besides those appearing on the program included Mrs. Waldo Wilbern, Mr. Ed Mrs. William Puffer, Dr. and Ms. William Stehly, Mr. and Mrs. An Vance, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fried, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Williams, Jr., Dr. and Mrs. John Larman, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Faust, Jess Marjorie Clarke, Lois Edge, Helen Weibe, Laura Dean, Glyn Manning, Katherine McCarson, Frances Merrill, Viola Amphenning and Jeannette Okhus and Charles Bush, Dr. Els Boceg, Mason Henry, Martha Shafer, Edgar Dougan, Gilbert Behler, Howard Merrill, Art Jenner, Louis Hennig, Kenneth Parkhan and Ray Trevorrow.

Members of the Anaheim council of Parents and Teachers entertained their husbands and special guests at a Christmas party and dinner last Thursday evening at the Horace Mann school.
Entertainment following the dinner included accordion solos by Lois Roquet, readings by Louis Wire and Rumy Schrade, Spanish dances by Tillie Sanchez, song and dance number by Teddy Lou Payne and Shirley Miller, tap dances by Warren Heckman and two solos by Peaches Darlyne McKee.
Special guests included Mrs. G. Holmes of Fullerton, first president of the Anaheim council, and Mr. Holmes, Miss E. Kate Rea, school trustee, and Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Gauer.
The hostess committee included Mrs. J. B. Luth, Mrs. Arthur Osborne, Mrs. A. Roquet, Mrs. Fred Clough, Mrs. E. W. Gaddis and Mrs. F. M. Bungay. Mrs. Walter Ward and Mrs. John Kemper received guests at the door.

Jerry Mahoney, 18-year old gangster found guilty of burglarizing a candy stand in Anaheim July in November was sentenced two years in the Preston School Industry at Ione last Thursday. Superior Judge James L. Allen. Young Mahoney asked to be allowed to return to his former home in Pittsburgh, but Judge Ben declined, saying that at Weston the youth could learn a trade and become a useful citizen.

H. M. Miller Sells Auto Parts Store
Announcement was made this week of the sale of the H. M. Miller company, auto parts business, to a firm known as Barnett, Brownell and Hubbard. H. M. Miller company is located at 151 S. Los Angeles street.
The new owners, all Annieheim men, are "Woody" Barnett, Randall W. Brownell and E. Floyd Hubbard. Brownell will be the manager of the store.
Miller founded his business some 12 years ago and the concern grew to be one of the largest of its type in the county.
